What is POCRA Scheme?

Project on Climate Resilient Agriculture in Maharashtra. This scheme is joint project of World bank and Government of Maharashtra. It is also called as Nanaji Deshmukh Krushi Sanjivani Prakalp


How many villages or district covered?

Around 5142 villages or 15 districts of Maharashtra covered in this scheme. Govt proposed to spend Rs. 4000 Crores in this scheme.

1.  Agriculture equipment bank

2. Farm ponds

3. Drip/ sprinkler system

4. Water lifting pump

5. Polyhouse/ shed net house
